For this session, I used the reducer/corrector and set the QuickCam at Zoom Out for a maximum field of view of about 12 by 18 arc seconds. This allows me to capture the entire surface of the 10-day-old moon with a 2 by 3 mosaic. There's some noise here, and the edges of the mosaic are revealed by the brightness differences. So I'm hoping future attempts will be better, but this one is going up to record progress.
